Title: PCGS - What am I missing?
Post by: Nevol on May 10, 2015, 08:21:33 AM
QuoteTo read a more comprehensive description of any No Grade, click on the "more" link of any No Grade category.

I did this in several places and it took me back to the beginning of the PCGS Grading Standards.

So if anyone really wants to know 'more', where do they hide the information?

I have to confess that what I know about PCGS would fit on the back of a threepence, but to have links that return to where one already is seems like an exercise in futility.

No that link is great.   First time I have seen it and now I have a better understanding of the Graded Mules that I sent away some time ago for grading and slabbing.

Now, all one needs is to group the PCGS Grades into the grades of VG, G, etc so we all know where we stand.

Many thanks for the link stevo1862 and thanks for the question Nevol, I think we both got out answers.

When I clicked more, there is a small popup that clarifies the term. Is that what you're getting Nevol?

First time I tried that today nothing happened. I refreshed the page and then got the popup but it was slow to load. Clicking on another "(more)" link then was quite fast.
So I say, try, try, try again (be patient) and see if that helps.

Getting the pop-up now, but earlier, every time I clicked on the 'more' link, it took me straight back to the top of the PCGS Grading Standards.  It was like going round in circles.

I hope the pop-up links keep working until I get a chance to read them all when I'm more awake than asleep.
