I have at long last, decided to do a Descriptive and Picture page of all my varieties of $1 coins that I have in my collection.
I have verbal pages that are to the left of the actual DANSCO Page in the Album but the page below is to the right of the DANSCO Page.
Page 1:

Page 2:

Page 3:

I only hope that the effort will be worth it:
By doing what I have done, it just might help others and newby collectors to understand what we are talking about re Rabbit Ears, Spew Roos and other type of descriptions we give to these variety coins.
I can supply the above pages in the .jpg/.pub/.pdf formats if anyone wants them.
Enjoy.
Go Goldie!
Looking forward to more.
Great job Goldie........many thanks.
You are worth your weight in gold!
Great job Goldie. :yahoo:
Excellent Goldie!

Thanks goldseeker
Thanks heaps for that, I get it now :) :) :) More hunting lol
I have changed the pictures that I have posted in my first entry above that now reflects the $1 Kangaroo Rabbit ears/Spew Roos/Cuds etc that I have found and am keeping in a separate album.
I shall update from time to time as the collection gets bigger.
If forum members would like any of the above sent to them I can supply copies in either .jpg/.pdf/.pub format. Just sent me a PM with your personal normal email address and I shall send the required pages/format to you at no cost.
Please enjoy the above.
I have been advised that if I supply a .pdf format, then one can enlarge the scan of the error as you desire.
More great stuff Goldie!

Great idea goldie. It's frustrating when volume upon volume of written explaining text is sadly accompanied by too few visuals. One good picture is worth a thousand words. Good stuff.

Thanks for all the kind comments.
I was just thinking that maybe I should actually put a red circle around the "variety" to highlight it a wee bit mare and place a clean coin alongside with the same area highlighted.
Blow it, I just might go ahead and do a couple as an example.
It is ok for someone who has been in the game for a while but what about a total newbie who hasn't the faintest idea of we talk about.
Maybe I shall start a "Error Description Topic" for the newbies.

A red circle is a great idea!
However, putting a "clean coin" alongside is overdoing it. The space would be better used for coins with more than one cud e.g. 2008 double tail with cud on "1".
Keep up the good work Goldie.
Give me time, I am working on it but I just can't seem to get it the way I want.

How about an arrow?
Um, er, der, a very alert forum member has indicated by private email that I have made a serious error on page two. I have now replaced that page with the correct information.
After working for several hours I believe I have posted correct Pictures with Descriptions.
If anyone needs clarification of anything in the opening entry to this thread please PM me and I shall try and explain.
Now to do an "Variety List" with circles, arrows, bells and fireworks.
You know what I mean.
Don't you?
Very good Goldseeker I love your posts
