I was sorting through a heap of 10c coins I'd put aside for whatever reason and came across this little ripper in a teeny Zip-Lock bag. I reckon it's at about 30° CCW or 330° CW depending on which way they're measured.

I already had the two below from some years ago, but have no recollection of finding
the third one, so I don't know how long I've had it. It's in pretty good nick too. :blush2:
About 15° CCW OR 345° CW depending on which way they're measured. :winkextra:

About 80° CW.

Now if you can just remember where you put that 1930 Penny,!!
The thing is if I had stashed a 1930 penny, it would have happened a long time ago and I would remember it as my long term memory is pretty well intact. :whistle2:
Can't say the same for the last 5 years or so though. :nea:
That first one a real nice one!
Can we post any denomination or only 10c?
Any denomination any era, all Aussie upsets are welcome here. :winkextra:
Nancy the third poppy $2 you posted up in the other thread, was it slightly upset?
I don't think there is enough room for me to post my 450 plus COF Upsets............
Nice 10c upsets regardless.
A little hoard of 1963 halfpennies:

A nice little Federation dollar

Some nice stuff there Nancy, :)
I've got a nice 1919 and 1920 1d, and some nice 1962 1d's, not photograghed yet. Pure laziness, my bad.
A couple of other minor items in predecimal, nothing in the decimal era as such, yet.
Nice one there pra.
Goldie put you clockface up again mate, it is special and a great achievement. :)
QuoteNancy the third poppy $2 you posted up in the other thread, was it slightly upset?
No, it's just normal. :shy:

I agree 100% :D
You asked for it:

Very nice. Was that the display used at the RAM?
I think your 11 o'clock is a little off (I also found it the hardest to find).
emu666: Yes that set was/is on display at the RAM and still is on display as part of the million to one exhibition.
I can see that the 11 o'clock position coin has turned slightly but regardless of that, all the coins are with 0.5 degree of what they should be.
I must agree that that is one of the hardest to find.
But because my noodling has come to a complete standstill, I haven't found any keepers in the past 20 months or so.
Great stuff Goldie. I wish I had enough to make a clockface. I have got 12 CoF $1 but some are duplicates and I only have crappy old scans at present, not worth posting.
Despite noodling quite a few $1 coins I have never found a CoF upset more than about 10 degrees. Not even worth keeping. Plan on getting seriosu with noodling again over the next month or so.
Here are mine. None of them are huge except for the 1950 Perth Penny which i estimate to be 90 degrees.

The only rotated coin I have is the 2010 50c woo!
enworb your coins have die cracks in them too
I like those 50c!!

If anyone has a spare 2010 50c UPSET, I am interested.

Glad you like them. Predecimal silver upsets are rare.
I've actually got two 1922 3d.
The 1918 florin cost me a lot of money at a Nobles auction. It is a cracker of a coin.
I found the 1953 florin amongst scrap silver at work (had to pay Stuart more than scrap for it though).

emu666 , you say i wish it was mine but it isn,t ,
then why dont you bid on it , can you see something wrong with it ? or do you think it will go a lot higher in price ,???
i am a little bit worried about your comments , enough to stop me from bidding on it .. ..

It belongs to my boss at work and I was too short of money to make a decent offer to buy it from him. So we had to list it.
Ebay don't allow you to use your own id to bid on something you've listed at work.

Really cool. I think the angle of yours is slightly larger than mine.
Copied from the "Today I found in my change' thread to keep the 'Upset' material together.
This is a list I have for Decimal Upsets. I add to it every time I read about a coin that's not on it.

2002 $1 Outback @ 30°
2001 $1 COF Various degrees
1999 $1 IYOP @ 30°
1996 $1 Parkes @ 330°
{1985 $1 Approx 30°}
2010 50c @ 30°
2001 20¢ Various degrees
2000 20¢ @ 30°
1966 10¢ Various degrees - under 45° or over 315°.
1966 2¢ @ 330°
Any coin on the list in these brackets {} has been added since I first posted the list.
If anyone knows of any other Aussie Decimal upsets, please let us all know about them.
You pulled that listing? :(

Sorry, I blame the big day out... I meant the ebay listing got pulled. but yeah, what AJ said too.
Edit:
Oooh, oooh, oooh.. just after I hit post, I found another fed 270° upset (facing upwards) :yahoo::yahoo:
A couple of teeny ones showed up a little earlier, but hardly worth mentioning. ;)
Quote from: 'keldaw' pid='17932' dateline='1371079123'NANCY , WHAT ABOUT THESE ONES 1999
They are on the first list Kel, and I dare say I have some of them, but if I remember correctly, the degree of upset on mine is quite small, similar to the 2001 20c and 2005 $1, which I think are within the RAM tolerance.
One of these days I'll start a project to identify and catalogue
all my upsets. :winkextra:
