I'm thinking this planchet had a void hence it's failure to be fully struck out ....... Lip'o'suction perhaps?

I can hear Hall & Oates now .....
Because they missed, they missed, poor Lizzie's lips
Because they missed, they missed, was QA p!ssed
Because they missed poor Lizzie's lips, this coin's in strife
I'd be a bit inclined to say struck thru something or it could be PMD, as the bottom lip / chin sort of looks like it's got metal folded over it that might have peeled down from the top lip.
Not a pun this time; instead a mondegreen -you are expanding your repertoire!
Her Majesty doesn't look impressed.
I look forward to finding out the cause of this error.
Thanks Nevol, I'll try and get some better pics with my cud'o'scope ..... I must have take 100 pics with the camera to get those and they still aren't great shots.
:laugh2: Jeff ...... and here was me thinking mondegreen was a new kind of versedegris .......
Where you been hiding all these, always holding out on me :winkextra:
:laugh2: Aj, yes just another one of those tidy up the desk days.
Mine is half full again, where does it all come from :scratch_one-s_head:
Geez, that wasn't much better than the photos, but here's a cudoscope comparison to a normal one.

I'll try and get some pics using natural light tomorrow. Shiny coins always seem to give me grief.
Yeah me too mate, reflects the light back too much
Do you hold out on Mrs Uni like this :blush2:
:laugh2: ...... nah no need to, she'd turn off the second I started rambling on about coins .....
:laugh2: :laugh2: I'm gonna tell her you said that next time I see her, hope she's well, and all the other Unicorns :friends:
Nice error Uni.!
A couple of daylight happy snaps, 80 pictures later.

I'm leaning towards a strike through oil/grease now, but regardless it certainly has wiped the smile off Lizzie's face. :laugh2:

I'd go along with that.

:i_agree:
I was really surprised that this one didn't get a bid when I listed it.
Being a NCLT with a strike through I thought it would surely get a bid especially with a starting price of $5 (which includes $1.40 worth of postage plus a $1 of ebay and paypal fees). After all .... how many NCLTs do you see with an error?
Oh well ..... luck of the draw .....

Heh, I'll give ya five bucks for it.
Thanks McDuck ...... it would be good to see it go to a good home.

NP. Its something I didn't have, and the price seemed reasonable. :)
Picked it up tonight, thanks heaps mate.
Packaging was a bit extreme BTW... had to call in the demolition squad to get to it. :)
:laugh2: ..... Thanks Fulvio. I'm glad it arrived safely.
