Giveaway including free post to good home. 282g of world coins, almost no post 1950 stuff other than a few US coins and one GB 10p coin. Includes some spectacularly cleaned 19th and 18th century pennies and half pennies. There's some East India stuff, a Princely states quarter anna, a WWII nazi zinc coin, a couple of decent Palestinian coins, plus much more. Fun to look through and try to identify them all with Krause or the NGC online coin guide.
I'd prefer these to go to a young numismatist or a new collector. If you're a re-seller don't bother asking for them.
Good on you Mark.
Just the thing to get the juices flowing for a new collector and will be a heap of fun sorting these out .
Well done Mate :wavemulticolor:

They're neither, but if all else fails, I'm sure I could drag them along to the next MNS meeting and find willing recipients.
where's Coopers??
he was around a week or so back
Hello,
You could send a few at a time to new members.

It'd cost me postage every time.......
don't recommend encouraging freebees to new-bees
it is a coin forum not a giveaway shop
no offence intended Chris either
Perhaps they might fill some gaps in Triggersmob's epic collection?
I think if there were any spares then they would certainly be distributed to other collectors worldwide.
(Just a thought).

Yair Markn.
Ya gotta stop givin stuff away , That's my bloody Job.
A bit of demarcation is required here, I'll have to go see my coin collectors Union shop steward and sort this out :dance2: :Laugh2: :angel:
no I just think it would be a hassle and there is all the argy bargy about 50 posts etc etc
although, if you need a shop steward I am one in real life Trout ha ha

HeHe, I was the AWU Convenor for Dampier in the 90's .
Markn, better get your local shop steward's opinion/permission first.
I think her name is Kat.... something.......!

Thanks for the thought Uni.
Mark, if no one else takes them, I would be pleased to give them a home. I could then add a few extras to the ones I don't need and then offer them up again, or like Uni said, distribute them amongst other world collectors. :)

OK, they are yours. PM me your address please.
That's a really cool idea. Receive a package of coins, take a few that please you, add a few that are your spares and offer them again and around and around we go!
It's like that stamp thingy that was going around.
Send 30 stamps to a friend, take what you want, replace those you took and send on to someone else.
Maybe that could be done here but who is going to control/manage it?
Thanks for volunteering Goldie.
Oh, that's right, ex-serviceman; never volunteer!

That's what I had in mind when I mentioned it.
All you need is a thread to keep track of it.
These will be in the post today.

That 1834 GB Farthing is in nice nick for it's age. :good:
Wonderful gesture Mark, certainly a smile on Triggers dial.!!
