If you drive a V8 vehicle, you are exempt from punctuation!

Where is (http://www.australian-coins.net/gallery/albums/userpics/10055/Man.jpg) when you need him?

Note; Apostrophe man does not do commas or semi-colons -they are different punctuation super heros.

Skool iz kool
Unfortunately I went through school when they stopped teaching the finer points of punctuation. I was never taught where the apostrophe goes as those in charge thought we would just pick it up naturally. End result is that few people know how to punctuate a sentence these days (including teachers). They have also stopped teaching copperplate and last week I read that over 48% of Americans are functionally illiterate.
Nothing worse than poorly punctuated/structured sentences. Sorry,I'm mistaken... how about those who don't know the difference between lose/loose or those who use double negatives or even triple negatives (Don't not do nothing)

I eagerly await our "pedantic nitpicker" leader's response -his words, not mine.

Meanwhile, any comments on the message the sticker is giving?

Apostrophes are easy;
•Possessive (belonging to) as in my Mother's car -the car belongs to my mother.
•Abbreviative for contractions of words such as 'Twas (it was) the night before Christmas, the '66 (1966) 50¢ coin was round or don't (do not) do that.

That is it.

An apostrophe should never be used to make a noun (word for a thing) plural, as in the cartoon above. Just add an "s"; not " 's".

Or an "s'" in the case of plural posessives' apostrophically apostrophical apostrophifications (yeah, I just made that up, so sue me :diablo:)

My own pet peeve, carefully selected from a comprehensively lengthy list of grammatical crimes, would have to be people who don't know the difference between

To, Too and Two because two tos are too too hard for two tutu-wearing twerps too grammatically-challenged to get used to too.

PS: I failed HSC English not once, but thrice. So what do I know? :(

Would you believe he missed it by that much? (and loving it).

Relaxing rural lifestyle indeed! The houses in the background are part of this development. One lot has already been subdivided and now has two houses -obviously for twice the relaxation.

Went to Narromine on Friday for some work -two hours driving each way for only one actual hour of specialist work -but, that's alright, I was paid for my time and travel.
Saw this on the way and had to stop and take a photo. Must be a story behind this. [No sheep to be sighted; maybe they are on this property, but all in the back paddock?]

Sighted at Gulgong markets yesterday. My theory is this is a cunning long term marketing plan!
