Title: US Quarters
Post by: Goldseeker on November 01, 2014, 01:13:35 PM
I have accumulated quite a few of the State Quarters, not a complete set.

Are these State Quarters of any value or just plain old US$0.25 or any particular State more valuable from another?

Thanks in advance.

I can't think of any that are particulaly scarce, so I'd say they're worth US$0.25, unless they're proofs.

I've got a full set up to & incl 2013, plus some from 2014.

I do an exchange with a chap in the US.  He collects some of the Oz coins, but not all.

Good work Jeff ...... lots of NCLT in there!

For 11 Rabbit Ears I'd be thinking between 5000 and 7000 coins? Am I close or off with the fairies?

Ditto, I just need the 2014 Everglades.

The last price list that I have (2011), shows some cataloging at up to USD$100 in MS67 and some rare errors like the extra leaf high, Wisconsin 2004 D being valued at USD$12,500.

None of the State Quarters are particularly rare.  It's still possible to assemble a set from circulation.  Many people saved them and let them go when they realized there was no great value in holding them.
The mintages of the America the Beautiful Quarters are much less, but there are no great rarities there either.  You don't see a lot of them in circulation.  They haven't reached the point where people are letting go of them yet.  That series will end in January of 2021.
