Just stumbled on this listing for a wavy 2 :dodgy::winkextra::to_pick_ones_nose_eat:
eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1966-20-CENT-London-Wavy-2-variety-scarce-type-coin-/221569472770?pt=AU_Coins2&hash=item339691d902)
speechless at such a disaster regardless to the 'blurb'
:laugh2: ...... What a shocker!
It must be "beaten coin day".
I thought the base of the neck of the 2 should be thinner ........ but I'm only going from memory.
Don't know about being a" wavy" but it is the best example of "road kill" I have seen in a long while :laugh2:
Funny how there's less shrapnel damage in the area of the foot, except of course for the main bang :dodgy:
That coin gives "roadkill" a bad name. Think I will look elsewhere for a wavy! :shok:
Pedro
WOW. I would never buy a scratchie or lotto ticket ever again if I sold that. im pretty sure just selling that would use all my luck.......FOREVER!!!
oh dear , not a wavy but maybe it's been dumped on the rocky shoreline about million times
I have some bad coins but that one is tops!
nope...
Sold for $15!! Trout did you treat yourself a birthday pressie? Sorry but I don't think it will grade because of the bagmark :)
QuoteTrout did you treat yourself a birthday pressie?
I treat myself to a pressie many times a year Kathryn :)
Self indulgence is one of my greatest pleasures .
I will own my third Pagoda in a few days, ALL is good in the World.
AJ sent me my credentials, check out the birthday thread :laugh2:

That is a rather nice specimen, a bit over graded and cleaned but it looks like the real McCoy to me.
Not for me tho, I would rather spend 2.5k on Proc coins than this, Each to their own :ok:
