I can't recall such a PNC with the RAM 20c coin in it.
Does anyone know if this was an official Australia Post PNC?
Goldseeker what do you know about this one?

That is a FDC with a coin in it. Not official. I'm thinking it was Downies but might be wrong.
It is a privately made PNC.
Maybe one could ask the seller to provide a scan of the back of the envelope. I wondered why he didn't provide that in the first place.
(Email sent for the scan).
If he has 5,000 then he is going to a lot of trouble to make a buck.
here is the OFFICIAL (Front) scan of the PNC:

Here's your link, definately Downies.

Gee the price is a bit high for them particularly with 5000 minted.

I am in conversation with this seller and I have been told:
"Dear 2789616,
Let me start by stating you have no idea what you are talking about.

My reply to the abov e:
Dear gitano091265,
Please excuse me for coughing at your latest reply. Firstly, I have in no way abused you so I don't like being called a liar or being told I don't know what I am talking about. The only ODFFICIAL BOURKE AND WILLS PNC was issued by on 03 Aug2010 and the PNC contained a 2010 $1.00 coin and the picture is that of the statue of Bourke and Wills. Your PNC was made privately by a very large coin dealer that is situated in most capital cities of Australia and on line. Have a look at Greg McDonalds Pocket Guide for a picture of the official PNC contained in the PNC section of that catalogue. Further, I have just this moment received a phone call from the people who made the PNC that you are selling and they have confirmed that they produced 5000 of the 20c PNC's and had them individually numbered. I am awaiting another phone call from the firms legal team before I can give you the companies name. But, I can tell you they do have a large shop in the Block Arcade in Melbourne if you care to check with them by either phone or in person. Also, there should be an issue number on the reverse of the PNC and I bet you yours does not have this number.
I am not going to ask for an apology but I am correct in all details.
Regards
- 2789616
I have contacted XXXXXXX and awaiting a reply so that I can send this bloke the companies name that issued the PNC.
Lets see what happens now.
Hi,
If you look carefully at the fourth picture, it clearly states of the middle right hand side, "packaged by Downies".
And the limited edition package number is 0637, also on that picture.
It brings up the old question again of what constitutes a real official PNC - a question that will forever be argued.
Cheers
Peter (notcb)
I'm glad I never bought these ... they are Downies garbage with garbage Perth Mint coin
