Title: The Silver Proof 25mm $1 coin picture thread

Not many collectors have a complete set of these graded by PCGS, So I thought a pictorial thread may be interesting.
I will endeavour to post all my coins eventually and I will start at the beginning with the first coin and work through the rest of them :ok:
I will post the coins by year  so as not to bog it down with images.

You seem to have the hang of that new camera now.

I agree with your comment on the Sir Henry Parkes coin. Albronze ones just don't look good -even uncirculated ones seem to look well worn.

The MOR and the Wombat coins are 25mm, the other two don't strictly fit in the set but I have them in it simply because I like them 

If my mind serves me correct the "A" Mint Mark Television coin, the "A" was not for Adelaide but for ANDA.

Further, there was supposed to be a release of 1,500 at Brisbane ANDA Show, 1500 released at Sydney, and same for Melbourne and one other but it all fell through.

The discussion in the old forum was to get a coin from each of the shows but it did not eventuate.

I trust my memory serves me correct on the comments I have just made.

Regardless, nice scans Trout and I would like to do the same but to duplicate the scans would not achieve anything.

Rather than jam up the thread/(your thread), I might put them up into my Gallery for one to look at.   However, all my inputs will be SCANS and not PHOTOS so will have to see how my scans compare with your photos.

This is the last batch so far and the end of what I have had graded.
The last couple of years haven't got the mintage figures because I don't know what they are.

My Next Pictorial thread will encompass ALL the Pad printed 25mm Dollar coins, 36 coins in this series.
 I just have to wait until the remainder are graded and returned to me so that I can take the images required 

I hope its OK to put this here. Its FordPrefect's image from the wedding set giveaway thread in the main forum. I'm not sure what year it is but I like the way he gets the coin to reflect the light and its an interesting comparison of the wedding set coin.
