I hope he is in nice clean water , I change mine every 2 nd day and
at the moment I have a lot of bee,s drinking from it .. ,, kel ,,
bloody things empty it in a day so it gets fill all the time. the small birds don't splash much around but a butcher or maggie will wipe it out real quick.
yep that's true , and now I have a couple of the dreaded ibis hanging around it . ,, kel ,,
I'm with you and don't like them, ugly birds. I mowed earlier and you should see all the little blue wrens (Superb Fairy-wren) flitting about getting grubs and insects and gee they're so cute. Oh and I've had a bloody black bat in the grevillea getting the flowers and the mango is flowering so when I hear it I have to go out and hunt it because I don't want it bring it's mates and raiding my fruit when they're on.
Hello,
I knew exactly what this Post was going to be before I opened it. " Naked Chic's waterfight " would be another title I would have thought to use.......
I'll try harder next time Chris :winkextra:
Love those little butchers. When I mow they hop along next to the mower waiting for anything at all.
Butcher.....hmmmm....reminds me of when the local butcher would collect orders at your home. This particular day while Mum was giving him her order our little bitzer dog sidled up, cocked the leg and piddled on his trousers, the poor guy was none the wiser. Back in those days most trousers had cuffs, and I still have this vivid picture welded in of dog pee sloshing from those cuffs as the butcher walked off. He probably had a session at the pub in the arvo anyway, a few hours there and nobody would know the difference. :dodgy:
nice puppy :laugh2:
