I'm not even going to begin to try and explain this, at least not yet.
But you should do some research and try and get your heads around it, because this is going to be hugely beneficial, on so many fronts.
Now here's a fascinating discussion on DogeParty, which was launched today (and overhyped, IMO, but that's another matter).
http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/2dh0oj/dogeparty_is_not_a_currency_its_a_tool_that/
Its an interesting concept, following on from CounterParty, but with a better/faster blockchain supporting it.
Basically, it allows you to create a set of tokens to use as 'tickets' for whatever purpose you desire. You could conceivably bypass Ticketmaster, Flybuys, and all the other loyalty programs entirely.
ACFcoins, anyone? :)
We already have a currency Backed by nothing but promises its called the Australian Dollar.
At least we can take the notes out of our wallet and the coins out of our pockets and buy whatever we need ANYWHERE in Australia with this stuff.
These Crypto type currency's to me is just plain Weird and smells of dishonesty and reminds me of the Pyramid type Scams of the 80's and 90's.
Lets face the facts, This type of currency was designed by a computer Nerd/Geek for the benefit of like minded people to take advantage of hard working and naïve people to create wealth out of cyberspace without getting of their arses and creating REAL wealth by participating and WORKING in the real world.
NOT for me at all, I'm heading off to work tomorrow to make some REAL money and I certainly won't be spending any of it on this type of CARP :ok:
I am very interested in Dodge, but am struggling to get my head around it.
Read the explanations, but without any application for the tokens, I don't see much use of trying to acquire enough Dodgeparty for a set of tokens.
Any way to further explain the process Fulvio?

This is the bit I've been posting about all day. I think an awful lot of people either failed to comprehend, or are speculating, hoping for a killing. Have a look at the massive 5 million coin buys... http://bitinfocharts.com/dogecoin/address/DDogepartyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxw1dfzr
The thing is, a set of tokens costs half an XDP to create, which is 500 doge. Nobody needs more than a couple to play with, and even if you're into lots of different things which might benefit from tokens, no way would you ever in your wildest dreams need ten thousand different tokens. So these people are burning doge for nothing. Or at least for the wrong reasons.
I'll probably burn 1,000 doge or two, because I'm in a number of organisations that could benefit from it, and a few cents is nothing really. But I've got 30 days to decide, and I'm in no rush. I think its insane to destroy nearly a billion coins in the first 24 hours, even if it does help the price.
The other concern I have is that the only wallet option available is an online wallet that demands a bleeding-edge browser. That's stupid, and I'd want to see someone release something more compatible. For example, I'm working with a couple of guys to develop a way to get full functionality from a paper wallet, with a web interface that can run locally in any browser off a USB stick or floppy/CD when you want to spend coi. Its always bothered me that paper wallets have been essentially one-shot throwaways, for no good reason. And I think that Dogeparty tokens would be eminently suited to paper wallets, no?

Trout, I don't even know where to begin...
Do not confuse a currency with trading/speculation in currencies. Two wildly different things. Wealth has nothing to do with the form it takes. If someone is rich, they are rich regardless of whether they hold gold, silver, 1930 pennies, US$, blocks of flats or cryptocurrencies, or any mix of them. As for working, what a laughable idea... as if work has anything to do with the form of payment, or the value of the rewards. Solomon Lew made what, $150 million plus from shuffling a few bits of paper around for a month or so? Would it have mattered if he was moving Bitcoins instead of David Jones shares?
You use the word REAL as if it has some meaning. Well, it doesn't. All currencies are virtual, as is just about everything traded daily all over the world. Or do you think iron ore futures are real? Imagine people driving up in their bulk carriers to take physical delivery of their contracts, and swapping them for sacks of dollar coins. Face it mate, the entire world trades bits every single day, whether they're digital oil or A$ or pork bellies or dogecoins. The only difference is who owns the networks they're traded on, and I'll take a 100% trustless decentralised network any day, in preference to a proprietary one that can be manipulated at will.
And never forget the bastard banksters have driven us into global disasters over and over to fuel their greed. Did you know for example that African expat workers alone account for US$2 BILLION in profits annually from the fees these vermin charge on the money those people send home to their starving families? Monies which could be sent instantly, for free, using cryptocurrencies. So don't give me that BS about dishonesty, because I know where the dishonesty lies, and its not in cryptos.
It's just a joke! (http://www.smh.com.au/technology/technology-news/it-was-a-piss-take-the-aussie-behind-joke-cryptocurrency-dogecoin-and-how-it-reached-2-4b-20180125-p4yyvf.html)

Yeah, umm, no.
Sure, Jackson was making a point at the time, what with 9 bazillion coins being created every day and all. But he and Billy did such an awesome job of building it that it very quickly stopped being a joke at all. Even if it does have that goofy dog on it.
And now more than ever, what with all the
shitcoins, I mean
scamcoins, I mean ICOs out there, it remains the only actual proper currency of the lot of 'em.
