When the RAM started the bimetal $5 series in the nineties I thought they were moving towards a circulating $5 bimetal coin. The polymer banknotes have such a long circulating life that I guess this won't occur in the near future.

The first 4 are all UK £2 coins.
250th Anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns.  It's the first verse of his 'Auld Lang Syne'.
300 Years Acts of Union between England and Scotland.
Birth of Brunel.
Marconi Telegraph.
The last one is from Russia following the collapse of the USSR.

Except for the "Cleaning Lady" Portrait , These are quite a nice design on a bi metal coin.

It's a matter of opinion whether the new security features introduced in 2012 have enhanced the design: http://www.mint.ca/store/mint/about-the-mint/the-new-2-coin-6800006#.U55VD_m2iSo
