The 1944 United States coin was for the Philippines after they were retaken from the Japanese.
Here's a few, but I'm not sure they are all eagles. Some have been posted previously in the silver thread.

GB 1977 25 N.Pence Multi 'Eagle' KM#223 Ag
(If this is an Eagle, I'll eat my hat. The head of a Dove, body of a Duck, and looks like chooks feet, they're certainly NOT Eagle's Talons, but who am I to argue with both Krause and Numismaster)

:yahoo: some sweet coins there team. I have a few of the French one but as mine are in about the same nick or worse I didn't worry but I cracked up when I seen the fed as I'd totally forgotten about them and I'm still suss on the pommy one as it's a strange looking eagle and looks more like a crane or stalk so glad our eagles look better and really love the 94 $10, now that is a very nice design :)
you guys and gals just floor me with the variety of coins you have..
so here is my contribution, just a variance of 2 earlier

The objects here depicted are the Ampulla (http://www.royalcollection.org.uk/collection/31732/the-ampulla), or flask containing anointing oil for the coronation ceremony, and the spoon used to do the anointing with. They are part of the Crown Jewels of England and, although the bird in question dates from the Restoration in 1661, it is copied from the memory of an older ampulla which Cromwell ordered destroyed. So it is perhaps not surprising, given the pre-renaissance inspiration for the design, that the eagle is not terribly realistic-looking, but an Imperial Eagle it certainly is supposed to be. To quote from the website I linked to above:
QuoteThe design, in the form of an eagle, is based on an earlier, smaller vessel, which in turn was based on a fourteenth-century legend that the Virgin Mary appeared to St Thomas a Becket and presented him with a golden eagle and a vial of oil for anointing future kings of England.
The Spoon (http://www.royalcollection.org.uk/collection/31733/the-coronation-spoon) is even older. As one of the few royal symbols to survive Cromwell's smash-and-grab policy, it is one of the oldest surviving objects in the Crown Jewels, dating in its present form from at least the 1399 coronation of Henry IV and is probably even older.
Thanks Sap, trust you to be able to come up with some interesting facts.
