:blush2: yeah I can't help it and know I'm weak and know I probably shouldn't have but then I thought I just have to so I crack and cracked opened my first proper mint roll last night so have some pretty pretties siting in front of me and now wondering if I should do the other roll as it is rather exciting but then I wanna be good
Nah, be a devil AJ :diablo: - you know you don't want to be good ;)
Pedro
Yeah I think ya got me Pedro, I just can't be good no matter how hard I try :laugh2:
GO FER IT.....Ya don't owe those rolls anything...crack em!!
I once broke open $200 worth of 2012 20 cent coins in mint rolls just to see if there were any errors in the lot.
I put a few in 2x2 but the rest went back into circulation
Nah these are the proper RAM roll sorry that they don't do any more because of the stupid plastic bags that leave that many bag marks it's not funny so I have been looking for original RAM rolls as the others rolls aren't guaranteed to have all the same coin where as the RAM rolls do..I opened a tallships roll and have one left :)
Those rolls your talking about I get all the time and there's no guarantee that it's the same coin all the way through the roll. yeah very disappointed that the RAM have stopped :(
Next time I get some I'll post a pic, had 10 rolls in the $200 bag I got the other day
Here ya go, they are only wrappers now but here's the RAM I cracked and you want them to say RAM or bar them as I can near guarantee that they won't have all the same coin in them and near bought some 2000 but same things as if there was a guarantee that I'd find an incuse but for well over $100 for the rolls I'd want to be pretty sure of getting one

and here's about a months worth so I counted the rolls and there were 60 and as I get coins from all over some are just brown paper and some are armourguard, gee I even found a roll that I posted a pic of where it had a 1/4 right on the end so not even guaranteed to get all aussie coins from the rolls but see that's the thing they aren't proper mint/RAM rolls so you have to be careful :)

well the $200 of 20c were all mint coins. the trick is to get the whole block then you know it is a fresh roll at the security company
they may no longer do ram rolls but that doesn't mean you cant get mint rolls anymore
I posted this picture before

I assure you that every coin is a mint coin in that block
fair enough but I can't get them here..so wish I could though :(
Getting a RAM roll is also not a guarantee of all mint coins either. I once had a RAM roll of what I thought were 1969 two cent coins but about 60% was 1966, 45% was 1969 and had 2x 1968 but they were mostly toned & fingerprinted coins.
Surprising in an original RAM wrapper, must have been the scraps from the bottom of the barrel.
Just recently a mate got some Armaguard rolls from the bank that have lovely uncirculated mintmark TV & Korea dollar coins and all we can come up with is that the RAM must have cleared out old stock?
got any of the 69's to trade?
Hi DJ,
No I don't want any coins but interested to know what the 68's were like and if possible any chance of a pic please :)

Well that was some time ago and either they went into the kids albums or are in my bag of 1968 2c coins (in capsules of course) along with dozens of others so would be tricky locating them now.
Have purchased a couple of other 1969 2c rolls the last few years but have not cracked those, yet!!!!!!!
