Title: what happens to the flips
Post by: ausjack on May 21, 2014, 08:26:31 AM
:scratch_one-s_head: I was on the phone the other night to another member and asked what pcgs does with the flips that we send coins in once they grade them..anyone know what they and the other TPG'ers do with them, just a thought as it can add up in time and if they just throw them out :dodgy: Also found out pcgs like the 2.5 x 2.5 flips so I'll have to do another PP order soon

They would have to throw them out you would think unless the staff
are allowed to take them home

We send our submissions in 2 inch flips and never have any problems. 2.5" is overkill I think (and more expensive!).

They all have stickers on them, I'd hope they recycle them but I don't know.

They are PET so I imagine they could get them recycled wherever soft drink bottles are recycled.
