When these coins were first issued I was absolutely certain that one of these at least would show up on eBay.
I even showed how easily this could be done.

yep very sad indeed, but ya know the thing that pisses me off the most about this, well beside ebay not giving a rats about the scum bags infesting their site in recent times but the damage this is doing to someone that really did want to do a proper aussie grading company and now it would have to fight through the bad name of apcgs. I really thought they might do the right thing but they are really showing their true colours so I really can't see them being around long term, well I hope not anyway as when people find out they've been ripped it might put them off our sport so they could be doing a lot of long term damage but as long as they get their quick buck. Shame apcgs shame!

From the facebook group.

Btw, both the seller of this coin, and the seller of the Chinese 1933 coin I posted yesterday (also APCGS) are from the Facebook group.

WE all know not to touch these APCGS pieces of crap but there are many other collectors that don't use coin forums or are isolated that will buy this garbage.
These people are just scumbags and are doing great harm to our hobby.
The sad thing is that the deceit won't be noticed by these uneducated buyers until they go to sell their collections for one reason or another and that may be many years down the track.
By that time the damage will be done and these slugs will have faded into the background

I think doing "Great harm to our hobby" is a bit precious,(no offence), people have been ripping people of since people were invented, the only harm done is by the people who don't research there coin of choice, I'm new to this great hobby, and any coin I buy, I research, ask questions, look at picture , and by reading the posts in this forum,  I'm betting no people in here are getting ripped of, looks like very knowledgeable people. Thanks people.

proof27,
While the general concepts that "people rip people off" and "buyer beware" are both correct, the way ripoffs happen affects peoples feeling towards that thing.
If lots of people get ripped off with shares, or property, then people become wary of shares or property.
If they get ripped off with coins, then people will steer clear of coins.  This DOES hurt the hobby.
