While I personally think physical coins are rather contrary to the whole concept of cryptocurrencies, and especially Doge, there is no doubt that people like things they can fondle, and the shinier the better. A gold coin would probably be a monstrous success, especially if the value of Đ skyrockets like Bitcoin did.
