Downies produced it?
Looks to me like a converted FDC
I have a question ... does anyone here know the origin of this FPNC?
Ha ha very funny runeway.
It wasn't produced by Downies.
It was a ridiculously overpriced converted first day cover.
Real value is of course very little more than the value of the coin (usually around $50 or so these days).
yeh I got one of those.
kinda cool being numbered but I would pay more than $20 for one
I would suggest looking around at garage sales etc as this stuff tends to turn over once people want to move the "dust collectors " in their lives
This is missing in my PNC collection I do have the FDC and carded coin though
Interesting how an individual could obtain 2000 of these coins in the first place ???

2006 50c Queens 80th Birthday PNC
RARE & SCARCE
THIS PNC ISA PRIVATE ISSUE WITH THE INSERT PRODUCED BY PICSART UK.
Very LOW MINTAGE OF 2000
I spend a heck of a lot on OFFICIAL PNC's without having to fork out more for private issue stuff. No thanks.
The 2007 APEC PNC produced by Downies was unofficial private issue did you buy one of them at time of release Goldseeker?
I am afraid I did.
Quote from: 'Goldseeker' pid='46143' dateline='1396941091'I am afraid I did.
Did you notice how flimsy the cover was?
Because it was originally designed as a first day cover, the paper was too thin for a proper pnc and tends to rip in the area around the hole.
I believe the same to be true of all the fdcs altered to become pncs.
I bought a few APECs as well but they were fairly cheap, think 4000 only from Downies
Definitely FDC paper is thinner, official PNCs generally don't have the 4 postcode squares, notable exceptions are the 2000 Valour and 2003 Coronation PNCs
Yep ol mate certainly cranked them out ... worth the money ?
