I am after some info on this coin but unable to find it on the RAMINT site.
All I want to know is, how many of them have 1 MM and how many have the 2 MMs. And what was their release price.
Can someone enlighten me please?
Thank you
Your Maccas book should enlighten you :ok:
2009 RAM Issues (http://www.australian-threepence.com/blog/2010/03/australian-dollar-coins-2009-issues-and-mintages.html)
23,758 master mintmark (kangaroo within C mintmark)
6,500 master mintmark counterstamp (kangaroo within C mintmark and C counterstamp)
Had a glance at Maccas and it wasn't enlightening. Actually couldn't find it but I didn't look very hard.
edit: found it next page

Looked at Renniks, seems they have missed the C counterstamp master mintmark version.
Yes, that's what is missing
The price of the coins was $12.50 each.
I was the first in line to secure this coin and it was very poorly advertised by the RAM. It was a now defunct Coin Forum that I got the info about the coin.
Drove up from Melbourne, first in line and minted the very first PUBLIC coin to be had.
Will post a scan of the certified first coin minted later.

If you haven't got one then go for it.
That reminds me, I owe the forum a scan of the first one of these minted and it is certified. Well here it is:

Since those capsules just push out, you could swap the coin with one of a different date and then not only have a first minted but an error issue.

Oh. Just read this after replying to the PM. Yeah, that sounds cool. As for 50's, I'd hate to break up a set. ;) Besides, I really can't recall where they're stashed.
$50 for three of the counterstamps with free postage is a bargain.
4 spare round 50's is an even bigger bargain!

Certainly does. I have the same at home here. That sign at the end of the counter, I have that as well.
I pressed 20 coins same day no huge lineup
There was no huge lineup for these
I think I did around 80 coins for myself and forum members. The line was not long and I had the job done in around an hour or so.
One of the quickest ins and outs I have ever done except for the "Bluebell Counterstamp", in and out in about 10 mins for 50 odd coins.
Have you got a pic of the Bluebell counterstamp Goldie?
Your wish is my command:

Nope, don't think so autocoupler as I got to the RAM around midday something and they had been doing the coins since 10am. Sorry to disappoint you.

I remember that day. I had managed to arrange a school excursion to the Mint and met Goldseeker in line.
Hi Biggles. That's right, you gave money to your students to get you these coins if my mind serves me correct.
Welcome to the forum.
