Mark and I have spent a couple of days giving the website a facelift.
The Purple Penny Shop (http://www.thepurplepenny.com/home,1.html)
This included widening the entire site allowing larger image thumbnails, adding an archive to send the sold coins to so they are still available to view and a rejigged header logo because the old logo was too slim for the new wider site.
Mark did the adjustments and I've been through each listing (about 400 of them) adjusting the sizes and image positions. I have to say I'm quite happy with the results.
Looks Good PP :good:
2 mins in, its still loading.... Hrm... :(
My guess is the culprit for the slow load is http://www.thepurplepenny.com/js/prototype.js, but I haven't really had a good look.
Oh, and http://www.thepurplepenny.com/favicon.ico seems to be missing.
There's something wrong at your end Fulvio because that file loads fine from numerous VM's I've just tested it. And the URL you gave is wrong, there's a comma on the end of it.
And favicon? Meh.
looks good
I may not have really noticed if you hadn't told me
subtle
Definitely one of the better sites, very professional, great images.
I bought something from Stacks and Bowers recently and their website leaves a lot to be desired, especially for an industry leader. For mine, the best website is Heritage.
I just had a quick 30 second look at your NEW website and looks good Loaded up on my computer very quickly, no problems.
Will have a more detailed look after I return from Canberra next Wednesday.
Sure are some pretty coins on that site.
Can't find the bulk world coins though :)
