Title: NGC submissions
Post by: trout on January 19, 2014, 09:30:40 AM
I recently sent a few coins to NGC for grading and it is my first submission with this company.
Where on the site do you look up the status of your submission ?

Trout, is there any particular reason that you are trying them out after slobbing these past few months with PCGS?
Won't having 2 different types of slabs make your collection look messy?
Is there any financial advantage in having their slabs when PCGS seems to dominate in Australian Pre Decimals (or are you slabbing new stuff?)

I just like to have a look at how NGC handles the grading as far as time and efficiency goes.
Both players are pretty much the same price as far as grading fees go.
I also have a few nice proclamation coins I want in slabs and I think that NGC has a better "Handle" on NON US coins.
Just testing the waters Mate :)

I am slabbing some decimals (extra to my collections) with the view of selling them so that I can use the funds to add to my collections of coins I DON'T have.
These are all getting graded by PCGS :ok:
