Hi, I was looking at this on Ebay.
It doesn't look like its 100 odd years old to me....what do you think ?
cheers & Seasons Greetings :winkextra:

It doesn't look genuine to me. Have a look at the 1932 florin he/she just sold. I'm not convinced it's genuine either. Look at the '3' in the 1932.
Looks real to me but is over graded and probably cleaned. The obverse tone is pretty ugly.
looks real to me but its had a clean.
and its overgraded
Ditto.....fine, maybe good fine but cleaned.....
Ditto to that ditto, harshly cleaned and way overgraded. gVF should have 8 pearls and a full diamond. I wouldn't pay more than $40 for this coin and only if I needed a hole filler.
I am very suspicious that this 1925 penny is a fake - i'd recommend not bidding on this counterfeit
it looks like a dirtied up fake to me, to make it look authentic
I cannot see a single marker that I look for in the 1925 penny
thanks for your help everyone ;)
I will select a nicer one to go for
one of my sets is only missing a 25 and the right one will come along
that one would stick out like dogs you know whats:rolleyes:

Hi Blacksheep , I have a few nice ones listed for sale

each of those 1925's of Steve's have the die markers that I look for
so my opinion is that they are bone fide 1925 pennies
