Title: The Dodgy Stamp Thread
Post by: purplepennyhunter on December 16, 2013, 11:36:49 AM
Mark brought me this package this morning. Despite being skinny enough to be sent as a $1.20/$1.80 large letter it's been sent as a $6.95 parcel. Now this guy takes reusing stamps to the extreme. If they have been previously cancelled (and I can see that they have been) just overlap them on the package, tape them all down and she'll be right mate.

In the U S I mailed a padded envelope to Australia that was slightly thicker than 1/4" (6.35 mm) and I was charged $6.30 because they said it had to go as a 'parcel', being over-thickness. If it were 1/4" (6.35mm) or less, it would have cost $2.20. I'll remember that.

I will never do that.   That is outright stealing.   Show the whole stamp and bare all...........
