This isn't even in my book. Mine is the 2009 pocket book but can't find it all. How can I tell if it's really worth $50?
I don't have a roll but do have a bag I wish to sell and would like to get a starting price. So I need help please.
eBay sees completed auctions anywhere from $14-$23 BIN's always go for more. As a general rule I have found the going rate for decimal nclt is half of cv - I know very harsh. That seems to comply with the rule that if you auctioned it you'd get $20 and list at a BIN of $25. My opinion only.

OK Thanks PP
Around 60 million mintage doesn't exactly make them rare. Then again, any roll is worth at least double face value, so epay seems pretty well right. ;)
Keep in mind rolls may harbour nasties, as I just found out with my $500 worth from the 80's. Paper is absolutely no protection from the environment, so provenance matters.
Also contaminated coins is an issue ie not all rolls contain same coins/dates

Coin rolls are a lot like sausages , you just never know what is inside them

Yeah, but you can be 99% certain.
RAM rolls are safe, obviously.
Sec rolls are safe if you get a sackful and they're all the same.
Sec rolls are probably safe if they show dates at both ends. Especially if there's more than one roll.
The way it works is they throw a pallet load into the hopper, and so the rolls will all be the same. Except at the beginning and end of the batch, when something different may be in the mix. This may not be a bad thing necessarily. I scored what I thought were Suffragette rolls, which ended up having the rarer volunteers dollars mixed in. Nice bonus that was. :)
I have only opened up a few rolls and so far so good. it's just that i need to sell off some rolls and bags and I can't always find them anyway to get a price to go by.
Not to worry, I will keep going.
I have bought rolls on secondary market ....never opened any of them up
Some of my 2005 $1 coins have a tear drop on Queen's face. All came out of same roll.
