What a con man .....
Private buying history from ssb_mint ..... proud suppliers of

As he says
"I ONLY HAVE 100 OF THESE
GOING VERY FAST"
Maybe we can do a forum bulk buy and get a discount. :mocking:
yeah that's pretty low, the threepence are not even close to the real deal and I got to see a real 37 at the international auction gallery's, when the coin show was on.
I've reported basically all of them, apart from this one, which surely has to be fake too ..... (would someone be so kind as to double check it for me) .....

Oh geez I know nothing about sovs and that looks sooooo fake lol. Hilarious.
Thanks Mark, I was pretty sure it was, but haven't seen too many early ones and couldn't really get it big enough on the screen for me to be sure.
Hi Uni,i'd say they definitely have a chinese connection.
I'd reckon you're on the money there Accumulator.
I can't stand these blighters that keep trying to rip people off. It's eventually going to make you uncertain of any coins if they get too good at making them.
Already I'd be terrified of any 1934/35 2/- with some of the new ones out. I see some poor bugga's bid $345 already for that sov and it's still got 4.5 days to go. I've only ever had a 1885 shield, so the early ones have me a bit lost (in space perhaps).
These chinese copies are now common on ebay.
I wonder how many new collectors get ripped and give up in disgust.
many Echi 'cause that's what puts me off as I haven't quite worked that one out but I hope in time I will..it has also put me off putting an add in the paper for coins as I don't want to rip people off and I don't want to get ripped so there's a bit to learn yet before I rush in..might be missin some brian but I try not to be too silly :winkextra:

The hair looks so wrong FAKE
Well despite reporting them all ...... they all were sold.
All fake .... all sold (http://www.ebay.com.au/csc/leighdipietro/m.html?LH_Complete=1&_ipg=50&_since=15&_sop=13&_rdc=1)
Looking at the buyers there's a distinct 'runner' amongst them having won 4 of the listings, a losing bidder in 3 and bidder in another 2.
Absolute disgust.

Sad. Very sad.
Unfortunately there is almost nothing that can be done about it.
Like others I reported these items to ebay.
They seem to act sometimes.
Other times like this they do nothing.
Flummoxed.
Does anyone know what actually happens when a report is made to ebay ?
I'm not sure Echidna, I'm confused too as to why they are pulled sometimes and other times not.
I'm really really hoping that perhaps they got the fraud squad onto them and let them go through to perhaps 'catch' the blighters.
Thanks for reporting them though.
Why should ebay do anything, they get payment don't they regardless.
It is us, the unsuspecting buyers, that get ripped off.........
$5000 for a dud 1916 mule halfpenny.
$10000 for a dud 1930 penny.
I think I will give up my day job...
The worst thing that can happen to these frauds (in this world) is that their ebay account will be suspended.
Maybe a nasty email.
The police will not call.
lets start mintin echi :winkextra:
You just have to look at the last photo that shows a closeup of the lozenges tin ......

Zero feedback, from Adelaide and coming up to Christmas. I can almost guess who it is.

This Shyster netted $12,776 selling fake coins and that is without the poor unfortunate that bought the dodgy 1933 shillings $110.
UNBELEIVABLE :dash1::dodgy:
I know that at least one of these buyers got their money back.
Hopefully others too.
These scammers will always appear on ebay.
Problem is ebay don't take much notice when such items are reported.
