thanks mods

I might have to go get the mop and bucket!!
I am sure there are plenty of proof owners here so before long the rather plain old '56 will be far surpassed by other magnificent  QEII treasures

the story behind my 1956 proof 2/- is that I had a 'in the raw' business strike 1956 2/- one that I adored but had 3 more experienced collected tell me it had hairlines from cleaning
I for the life of me, couldn't see them
so I figured if I went PCGS MS64 PR that it was pretty well a guarantee that the coin hadn't been cleaned, whizzed etc etc that the silver collectors talk about
Walter said that it came from a set and all were still in the cellophane wrap that they were issued in - pity the wrap isn't somehow put into a holder as the original wrap is a piece of history itself too - like the Foy bags
anyways, thanks for the drool replies :)
it is nice to show off and share

I have a set of 1957 proofs but I can't put any scans up of them as they are in the safety deposit box in another location.
