Title: Blue Shilling
Post by: purplepennyhunter on October 18, 2013, 08:09:49 PM
So as not to hijack the pretty penny thread, here's what Robster is talking about. PCGS MS64 and a super gift from a coin friend.
Quote from: 'Robster' pid='31340' dateline='1382047802'I was fortunate enough to view PP's 'blue penny' and 'toned' shilling last night and can confirm how amazing they look in 'real life'. The toning on the shilling is consistent across the coin and looks stunning. I wish all earlier silver would tone like this.!!

Stunning coin, I have never seen a coin with such an intensity of blue.
You must have a nice friend to be willing to part with it.
