A J , you are not supposed to get so close the queen of England ,
if trout saw you that close to her he would haved used his 44 on you .. ,, kel ,,
Just call me Paul Keating :laugh2: and that's meant to be the queen mum :)

queen mum looks heaps better, younger
Good pics AJ ....... geez, it seems that trying to show teeth on any coin is a recipe for disaster. Every coin I can think of where they've shown them is a shocker!
yep must agree Uni, or it's just so rare to get one that does. I was looking at an 81 50 cent and how good a lot still look for the age but then you look at the newer kate and will 20 and it's like yeah ok, I wouldn't have passed it..lips sealed or sealed lips look better :)
Agree AJ. Picked up a 1981 50c in change this week and other than for a couple of small dings it still has lustre and looks very nice.
Pedro
yeah it's funny that all these years later and the amount of 70, 77, 81 & 82 that are so much better than even 2013 one's recently found so I think it was just that back then quality counted in most things and it was around the early eighties that it all started going down hill and QC went out the door and plastic really took over and a prime eg were the cars as they just went to crap and the metal used or lack there of just wan't the same and now most of the car is plastic and the metal is just tin..makes me very sad :(

:agreed: Lets face it, all they care about now is making money. Instead of, umm, making money. :dodgy:
yeah it's a shame as they're nice coins and I think it's a credit to the old mint that they made they so good and hiss to the new mint but I still wouldn't mind a job there..imagine the errors I could create :laugh2:

Imagine the time you could serve. ;)
only if I got caught, so I can't say anything to trout :laugh2: and I reckon there'd be some there doing it :mocking: and look at the trouble the note printing is in ATM, what a joke
