I am slowly realising there's three types of coins in this house.  PPH's coins.  PPH's coins that used to be my coins.  And PPH's coins that I still think are my coins but she just hasn't told me yet are her coins.

Well I knew a Dutch girl whose surname was Daalder.  Which is Dutch for dollar.  So I guess that's kind of almost what you're asking :D

Seems that there are not many names out there.
There are a few which are close but not quiet allowable.
i.e. Dinar = Dinah
     Thebe = Thebie
     Heller = Helen
     Franc = Francis
etc, etc, etc,

My daughter is named Anna. I gave her an Anna as a lucky coin but, unfortunately she was born about 30 years too late to get a birth year one.

Can I play as well.

This coin was detected by me whilst I was posted to 11 MC Gp which was located at Middle head Barracks.   The coin was found near the fort at the headland.

Amazing colonial find Bruce.  Lot's of history there.  I wonder if it came out of the pocket of a British soldier stationed at the barracks in the 19th Century who had previously been stationed in India.

I would certainly liked to have found all that out markn.   The area that I found it has had a military presence in that area since the first fleet arrived years ago.   That ended several years ago when I believe that area was handed back for civilian occupation.

The whole area has tunnels running through it and various "up/down" gun placements for the hide away cannons so the fort was built to attack any invaders that tried to come through Sydney Heads.
