Can someone please give me some pointers on how I can identify large head or small head on the 2004 20c?
I'm sitting on 20 x 2004 20c pieces and they all look the same to me.
Maybe you have all small heads (unlikely to be all large heads). Have a look at this...

I have plenty of the large if you want any.

Good pic Jeff.
Coxspau, the big ones have a pointy A.
Thanks Jeff and Unicorn.
My 20 coins were all small heads. At least I know what to look for next time.
Pointy A's are getting tough to find. I'd average maybe one or two per thousand nowadays. Mintage was 400,000 IIRC.
In 9 years of looking I've only ever found one.

I'm in the same boat as Mr T, only ever found one.
As I said, I have quite a few. PM me if you want some at face value (+ postage).

Not the same. :P
Don't the 2004 mint sets have all big heads?
I recall some had pointy A but others a flat A and same for 50c 2004?

Nup, 50/50, and four different combos of course.
All circulation 50¢ were flat, as were most 20¢.
