You're giving coin collecting away because you won the lotto

The devil made you do it ....... :shok:

(Well you are the Devil's Advocate)

Actually I reckon because you kept the best 100 of each that you had.

You fell down the stairs, knocked your head, and spent them on painkillers in your befuddled state. Once the concussion wears off you'll probably slit your own throat in remorse. ;)

Unicorn is on the right track. How many of each coin can you keep when, after years of noodling, you have many. And these particular ones are not high value coins.
I sorted out the best and released the rest.

Last week I liberated a large number of New Zealand 20¢ (still have about 12 full year sets of better condition ones) and now I am considering some 1973 50¢ for parole.
Surprising how much money you can tie up sitting on coins that are "too good to throw back".

Stevo's idea sound good. Not to be though; I have never subscribed to lotto (or similar fool money parting/Government revenue raising promotions).
And, if I come into a big windfall I would ramp up my collecting and get serious about the high end items on my wish list.

About 2 years ago i was putting crappy 1973 50c on ebay in groups of 5 and usually getting about $10 for them. Ive stopped keeping them now, only those EF or better. Maybe you could try ebay with the 73 50s Jeff.

Putting them back into circulation is about the worst thing you can do I reckon. Swap them with another collector, or even use them to get a newbie started, but spending them is only going to see them ruined further.

You realised that you don't collect decimal coins?
