it looks like the 5Cent and $2 coin are not a proof coins/
The $2 coin has visible wear around the head
It is fine, has just rotated in the packaging.
If they're like US sets, they can be opened and resealed. Looks like you caught him.-John

If in doubt don't bid :ok:
They cannot be reopener and sealed like the US sets. Proof coins are damn hard to photograph out of the case. Add the thick plastic packaging to the equation and its even more difficult. That is certainly not wear on the back of the $2.

I agree with Matty, These sets are impossible to open and reseal :ok:
If these coins have rotated it means the set has had a rough time of it.
However the coins should be just fine.
I open all my proof sets and it is quite hard and the risk of injury is very real.
the US and Canadian sets are so much easier to open and the coins are 99% toned as a result of the crappy unsealed packaging, even their mint sets are simply sold in cello packaging and are very prone to scuffing :dash1:
The RAM is SOOO much better at packaging coins than our counterparts over on the "Dark Side" :diablo: :yahoo:
It was just a suggestion. As the man said, "Don't bid if you have any doubt."-John
IIRC, wasn't there a thread way back on ACBO about rotated coins in proof sets making them an "error" and therefore more desirable? It was during the whole packaging errors being collectible saga.
error sets I was told treat them with suspicion

Why would you treat an error set with suspicion? Not that we've determined that rotated coins constitutes an error, as they can rotate after they're sealed.

I personally don't consider ANY of the so called mint set " errors " to be of any numismatic interest, Including the sets with the wrong date coins in them.
They are simply stuff ups by mint employees "post mint".
The coins themselves are quite normal, There are far more interesting things to collect than these shoddy packaging quality control issues.

:i_agree:
Looks fine to me, they're proofs but they've just rotated in the case. There's no shortage of sets without rotated coins though.
I have never seen any rotated coins at all in proof sets in the shops I attend here in Melbourne.

All the proof sets I have opened up have had coins that were rather tight in the holder and I doubt that they would rotate.
Its either shoddy packaging or the set has been knocked about a fair bit.

Packed at two minutes to smoko I reckon. ;)
rotated coins in proof sets detract from the value not enhance it
