Title: 1936 Florin Mint Error.
Post by: accumulator on May 18, 2013, 11:03:19 PM
I bought a lot of 3 high grade florins because from the photo this coin  was aUNC/UNC & i also noticed the weak denticles opposite the indent in the reverse rim at about 2 o'clock.

This is a pic of the cause of the weak denticles etc, almost looks like it had some foreign material in the hole ,that has since disappeared, maybe ?

It a strange coin. I really have no idea what could have happened there. Nice high grade coin either way.
