Don't fret the queen should be along directly :dontknow: what's going on as she'd normally be over this like a rash :)

normal 'two paws'

ta - funny, I had that coin for the 3 denticles between the date and the roo's hind leg
didn't really notice the die crack as much - funny what you focus on and yep - it is pretty cool!

reckon there's 3 paws there?

I dunno really - I just put it beside the one paw to compare as a 'two paw', and thought, well look at that - the coin looks to have 3 paws!

Thankyou Robbiegal, perfect pics for my needs. I have a few with what I believe are 3 paws (seems like heavy strikes and that die crack are a common denominator.) You're a Gem.!!!

cheers
I think we need a better 3 paw example
perhaps you'll find one tonight?

and ps
that 3 paw with the die crack - I have another one with exactly the same, die crack &  denticles and that funny lump under the 1 in the 1964
so the errors are definitely all in the die

Just going a bit :off_topic:
I was having a squiz at my penny buckets and found this 1962 coin slightly rotated.
Every time I look in these I find something
It isn't spectacular but it is different :ok:

keep looking Trout as the '62 is your very likely year to be rotated
as is the '63

Robster,

The "Four Paw" '64 penny will usually be found with
a tiny die crack running Rim to Rim starting below
the P in penny and ending just below the first N.

I doubt very much the "Scarce" title, perhaps Not Common.:dodgy:

Well both you and Robster better keep an eye out for :-

placed die clash "Male Roo".

Good one robster, same die pair struck that one:yahoo:
Probably an earlier strike, the second paw "Ghosting"
is more visible.

robbiegirl will have to come up with one now, pressures on.

Took you whole hour, now we have Quads. :yahoo:

It's all Bob Allan's fault, he used the Descriptor when he was
moving all his pennies on Oztion a few years ago.

Very apt, no need for further info.

I  think the roo on the coins is female RG :ok:
If it was a male roo then it would be quite evident just under the base of the tail :diablo::laugh2:
