1922 Penny date variety Group 4, #1. Code, LF - LR4+4/5 - L10 - L16

Group 4, #1 - Upright 9 Extra Wide Date. The 9 is lower and slightly tilted to the right, and is also further from the 1 than all other groups. The left side of the foot on first 2 aligns with left edge of denticle 10. The left side of the foot on last 2 aligns with left edge of denticle 16. Only found with flat base reverse lettering and London obverse. Scarcer as found, accounting for approx. 1.15% of total 1922 Penny mintage.
