1922 Penny date variety Group 1, #2. Code, LF - L4+RC4 - L9 - L15

Group 1, #2 - Upright 9 Narrow date. Position of 9 is same as for #1. Spur at left side of foot on first 2 alters the alignment to left edge of denticle 9. Alignment for last 2 is the same as for group 1, #1 ie. left edge of denticle 15. Only found with flat base reverse lettering and London obverse. Extremely scarce as found, accounting for approx. .04% of total 1922 Penny mintage.
